The Toggenburg area is situated in the heart of Eastern Switzerland, one hour's drive away from the airport of Zurich and the lake of Constance.

From Southern Germany
Via Bregenz and St. Margrethen: on the A13 as far as Haag, then direction  Toggenburg/Wildhaus or via Konstanz as far as Wil.

From Central Switzerland and the Zurich Area
Direction Rapperswil, then across the Ricken pass to Wattwil.

From Eastern Germany
From St. Gallen continue to Herisau and then Lichtensteig.

In Toggenburg there are very good public transportation facilities. There are train connections between Wil- Nesslau and St. Gallen- Lichtensteig and excellent public bus facilities to most of the other villages in Toggenburg. See the SBB timetable.
